Jazmina’s Story
Our daughter Jazmina was just 2 years old when she was diagnosed with an incredibly aggressive form of leukemia called AML (KMT2A-Sept6). As parents, our world was turned upside down as we watched our vibrant, energetic little girl battling for her life in a matter of days. Jazmina endured countless surgeries, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and a three-month stay in the PICU. In the end, she earned her angel wings.
No one could have prepared us for the challenges our family would encounter, but thanks to the generosity of local organizations, we found the strength to keep going. We now understand, firsthand, the profound emotional and financial challenges that come with a terminal illness. In honor of Jazmina, we want to give back the love and support that was so graciously extended to us during her fight. Together we can be, Jazzy’s Joy.
